The Meriden Animal Hospital team is excited to be partnering with Veterinary Health Research Centers and Kala Health in multiple clinical and case studies to continue to improve the well-being of our four legged companions. The hospital will be running different health and wellness studies on cats and dogs throughout the course of the year that will focus on issues surrounding hip and joints, skin and coat and gut health. All products being tested in the case studies have already gone through extensive product testing, have been proven safe, and in most cases been on the market for years. You do not need to be a patient of Meriden Animal Hospital to participate. If your pet does not meet the criteria below for the current studies we are running, please continue to check back and see if there is another FREE study running at a later date that might help your pet!
The MAH Case Studies team is evaluating a variety of nutritional supplements that improve dogs joints. We are looking for dogs who are not currently on medication or supplements and are showing signs of arthritis. These signs of joint disease could include: overall slowing down; avoiding or slow to go up and down stairs; slow to get up and down; no longer jumping in the car/couch/bed; bunny hopping; closed hind leg stance; wide front leg stance; limping or muscle loss/atrophy.
Participants in this FREE 4 week study will receive 3 evaluations by Dr. James; 4 week supply of joint supplements; full x-rays and advanced diagnostics (case dependent); and a free additional month of the supplement at the end of the trial!
