MAH Pet Emergency Guidelines

Pet Emergencies During Normal Hours: If your pet has a medical emergency during our normal working hours please come to the hospital immediately. If possible while in route call the hospital at 203-235-1131 and alert our staff. This will help us be best prepared for your arrival.

Pet Emergencies After Normal Working Hours: If your pet has a medical emergency after hours please immediately contact one of these 24 hour monitoring veterinary facilities.

Option #1:

Animal Emergency Hospital of Central Connecticut

Friday 5:30pm through Monday 8:00am


  1. Exit 23 off I-91
  2. 91South: Right at the end of the ramp, then right onto Cromwell Ave, then 4/10mile on right.
  3. 91North: Left at the end of the ramp, then right onto Cromwell Ave., then 4/10 mile on right.


Option #2:

Piper Memorial Veterinary Center

  1. Exit 11 (Randolph Rd.) off of Rt. 9 North or South.
  2. Turn Left onto CT-155 Randolph Road
  3. The hospital is on your Right, just past Ryan Street, if you reach Ridge Road, you have gone too far
